Sire, Jonie D & Phil Jeong Presnts "Won't Go Far" Coming Soon
Sire, the creator of Noble Throne, and long time lyricist teams up with Jonie D to present "won't Go Far"
Sire explains:
"the concept was to focus on people who chose to live a life of behaviours that won't get them very far and tend to have a knock on affect, leading to more negative consequences. The chorus was inspired by Kool G Rap's amazing track Fast Life"
The duo are joined by the Ghanian born, now UK based vocalist Phil Jeong. The diverse singer adds a soulful edge to a track with an already poignant and honest message.
On production duties is Bristol based producer, and Wordplay Magazine affiliated Vice beats. Known for his jazz infused boom-Bap production, he's the final part of this 3 city Quartet.
With each of the members having an active role within their local music scenes and trying to make a difference "won't go far" serves as an extension of the true skool / golden era sound that the artists are all inspired by and emulate in various ways.
