The name Blabz is derived from the notion of a person being a "blabba-tong" able to tell the truth without caution uncontrollably. He spent some time in Plaistow deep in East London as a method of cultural review last year and recently returned to Derby, his hometown to vocal his project "One Side to Every Story". The project is a conscious attempt to display a number of faults in society, capturing life events Blabz has focused in his select multi-syllabic and metaphorical judgements. Blabz has been working with Necrosix to produce the project taking a forward thinking attitude and more methodical approach to hip hop and grime than previously listened to in recent years. Blabz is making the debut EP available for free download and be introducing himself in various locations around the midlands shortly to showcase his skills as a live performer. Stay tuned for this one coming to Platform magazine's website very shortly.
